This antique Anatolian Oushak rug has a shaded ivory field with an overall counterpoised design of terracotta-red, steel-blue and sandy-yellow bold palmette vine issuing angular leaves and further flowerheads, in a fox-brown border of polychrome large floral sprays, inner fox-brown skittle-pattern stripe between shaded blue polychrome floral, shaded steel-blue and fox-brown floral vine stripes.
