This traditional hand-woven Karabagh rug has a chocolate-brown field with and overall design of brick-red, sandy-yellow and sky-blue bold palmettes linked by an angular floral and leafy vine together with further smaller floral motifs, in a broad ivory border of polychrome crab-motif vine between brick-red rosette and chocolate-brown S-motif stripes.
